Fairfax are thrilled to be delivering on a scheme that will make efficient use of this land and are looking forward to working with the Rottingdean Parish Council and local community groups to bring this project forward.

Following the closure of the school in 2013, Sussex developers Fairfax, have now successfully acquired the site in the heart of Rottingdean Village from the previous owners.

A fundamental part of this scheme includes renovating the Grade II listed buildings to breathe new life into them and maximise the use of the existing playing fields for public recreation.

Other plans for the former school include the provision of much needed affordable housing.  Acknowledging Brighton & Hove City Council’s targets for affordable housing this site provides the perfect space to provide beautiful homes that are of the highest design, quality and at an affordable price for the local community.

Fairfax hosted a Public Consultation on Saturday 10th June, members of the general public were invited along to speak to the team and hear all about the proposed plans for this site. It was a great day with over 400 people attending. Thank you to everyone who attended and for all the very valuable feedback.
