After a year planning, training and purchasing of the necessary essential equipment an Angling for Education Mentor Programme has been launched to provide an opportunity for local secondary school children to enjoy.
After a successful pilot scheme throughout June 2019 the first group of children to benefit from Fairfax’s sponsorship of this innovative project will begin weekly sessions in September.
Managing Director Jon Ball has said once again that the company are delighted to compliment the existing school curriculum through the challenge of Angling with the hope of developing skill, patience, resilience and a desire to be successful.
